Sharon Kay Wall Gibson

June 21, 1946 — November 10, 2011

Sharon Kay Wall Gibson, 65 of Tucker passed away on Thursday November 10, 2011. She was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Charlie T. Wall and Wanda E. Dobson. Sharon was an active member of Scott Boulevard Baptist Church where she played piano for more than 25 years. Sharon is predeceased by her husband Jack Edgar Gibson and is the loving mother of two children, Jonathan Brent Carter of Garland, Texas and Cara Denise Carter of Alexandria, Virginia; proud grandmother of her grandchildren Victoria Elizabeth Carter, Jonathan Trulock Carter of Atlanta, GA, and Harrison Monkress Carter of Garland, Texas; and her step grandson Jack Elijah Gibson. A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 12, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons with Rev. Greg Smith and Rev. Mike Roper officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Friends of Disabled Adults and Children. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons 2773 North Decatur Road Decatur, GA 30033.
