Sophie Barbara Cimino, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away December 23, 2021 at the age of 101. She passed away in Atlanta, GA, but was a long time resident of Tampa, FL. Sophie was born in Branford, Connecticut on August 28,1920.

She attended high school at Branford High School. After attending business college in New Haven Connecticut, Sophie married Thomas A. Cimino, Sr. on May 31, 1943 .

She is survived by her two children, Thomas A. Cimino, Jr. and wife Mary of Round Rock, Texas, Daughter Dale Ann (Cimino) Chrimes and husband Charles of Atlanta, GA. Sophie was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Catholic Mass Services will be held in Atlanta, GA at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, January 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM.

Graveside services will be held at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, Brandon, FL, 11:30 AM, January 21, 2022.
