Stephen Morrell Baker

Stephen Morrell Baker, Lilburn GA, formerly of Jacksonville, FL, died Sunday, August 17, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home, 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033, with Rev. Jerry Pickard officiating. Steve was born in Jacksonville on November 9, 1946. He graduated from Ribault High (1964), Abraham Baldwin, and University of Georgia (1968). Steve retired from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in October 2013. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Karen; children, Jessica and Austin Baker; granddaughter, Aurora Mahoney; and brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Cheri Baker. Steve was a loving husband, Dad, Pops and brother; our lives have been blessed with him.
