Stephen Russell Solomon

STEPHEN RUSSELL SOLOMON of Atlanta passed away on January 25th at Emory Hospital, from heart failure. He was 24 years old and is survived by his parents, Tim and Sandy Solomon, his brother Geoffrey, and a host of extended family including paternal grandmother Edna Solomon of Glen Carbon, IL, and maternal grandparents Harvey and Sammie Gray of Georgetown, TX. A memorial service will be held at A.S. Turner and Sons on Thursday, January 29th at 7:00 pm, preceded by visitation at 6:00 pm. Rev. John Strickland of Atlanta Unity will be officiating. Stephen was a loving son and brother; a loyal friend; a graduate of Druid Hills High School with attendance at Georgia College; a participant in Troop 18 of the Boy Scouts and other Youth Programs at the Glenn United Methodist Church; a member of the Young Singers of Callanwolde; a diligent worker in the restaurant industry; and an accomplished musician. His care and concern for others will be missed. Donations in his name are welcome at either Glenn United Methodist Church or the Atlanta Unity Church, in celebration of life unending. You are dearly loved, son.
