Suzanne Starr Yeaple, age 63 of Avondale Estates, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012. An avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, she was the "Sweetheart" of the Braves one year and even traveled with them to Montreal. She was a longtime member of Avondale Estates First Baptist Church, had a true zest for life, and a love for family and friends. Suzanne was preceded in death by her father, Jack Palmer Yeaple, Sr. and is survived by her mother, Ada Yeaple-Brown of Avondale Estates; brother, Jack Palmer Yeaple II of Fairbanks, AK; nephew, Jack P. "Trey" Yeaple III and wife, Shelby; and nieces, Emma Caroline Yeaple and Grace Elizabeth Yeaple, all of Frisco, TX. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 18, 2012 with Rev. Bill Young and Rev. Clay Bowden officiating. A committal will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service on Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
