Terri Candice Dover

Terri Candice Dover, a life-long resident of Decatur, GA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 5, 2015 at the age of 51.
Born December 19, 1963, Terri was the daughter of the late Harold and Jeanette Dover of Decatur, GA.
Terri is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Scott E. Trail, 59 of Decatur, GA; 3 of her husband's children, Chelsea T. Winters, 32 of Canton, GA, Chase A. Trail, 25 and Cameron P. Trail, 23, both of Kennesaw, GA; and two grandchildren, Brayden and Bailey Faye Winters. Terri is also survived by her sister, Shari Dover; two brothers, John Kilpatrick and Ricky Dover; and 2 nephews, Korley Hammock and Alex Platt.
Terri graduated from Shamrock High School in DeKalb County, GA in 1982. After high school Terri began a 26 year career in property management where she became a Regional Manager for Tempo Management, Dominion Management, Watermarke Properties and Trillium Property Services. Terri was considered a superstar in the area of marketing and leasing of new construction lease up projects. She was a problem solver who often took on difficult and challenging projects. She was a fearless and accomplished leader. Terri won several awards throughout her career including 'Manager of the Year' and 'Spirit Award'.
Terri's depth of character was best exhibited when caring for those she loved and her beloved animals. She dedicated her life to the rescue of cats. She was a friend to all creatures and was known to rescue any animal from danger or in need of a home. Her love for these animals was fierce and had no boundaries. Terri's warm smile, her kindness and that soaring spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

A celebration of Terri's life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on November 15 at Turner and Sons 2773 North Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30031. 404-292-1551
