The Reverend Doctor Diane Tennis, 76 years old, of Stone Mountain, GA died December 12, 2009. Rev. Tennis was born 10/29/33 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of the late Lucille Gosch. Rev. Tennis obtained her Masters of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in NY and her PhD in European Intellectual History from the University of Rochester in NY and served the Presbyterian Church throughout her life. She is survived by son, Mark H. Tennis of Duluth, GA; her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Leslie Tennis of Baltimore, MD; and 4 grandchildren, Katie Elizabeth, 22, Samantha Marie, 10, Kerianne Nicole, 8, and Wesley Eugene, 6. A memorial service will be held at Oakhurst Presbyterian Church, 118 Second Ave., Decatur, GA 30030 on Tuesday,12/22/09 at 10:30 am. A. S. Turner & Sons
