Thomas Hugh "Bubba" Pendley of Birmingham, Alabama passed away Friday, June 18, 2010. Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Susie Pendley, Clarkston, Georgia, and brothers, Howard, Bobby, and Jack. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary, cherished children, Carolann (Lamar) Butts, Cynthia (Mike) Landrum, grandchildren, Sarah (John Michael) Powell, Jason (Amber) Likis, and great-grandaughter, Lola Kate Likis. Tom was employed for many years with Curtiss Candy Co. and Associated Cleaning Contractors. He is a veteran of World War II having served in Europe with the 9th Troop Carrier Command. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 21 at 2 PM Melwood Cemetery with Reverend Howard Pendley officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 12PM Noon until 1:30PM Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
