Thomas Lewis Marr

Mr. Thomas Lewis Marr, Sr. of Atlanta died Sunday, September 2, 2007.  He was a professor of law at Emory University from 1968 until 1996.  Mr. Marr was a fellow at Cambridge University, Cambridge, England.  He was a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute in 1951 and served as a Lieutenant in the US Army from 1951 until 1954.  He was a member of the Florida Bar Association, the English Speaking Union, the Dragon Club of St. Petersburg, FL, the Cambridge Society and the Cambridge Boat Club.  He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Marr of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Charlotte Marr Sanders of

Atlanta, GA; son, Thomas Lewis Marr, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; brother, Dr. Norval Marr of St. Petersburg, FL; two grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  A. S. Turner & Sons.
