Thomas O. Muckler

Mr. Thomas Oscar Muckler, Sr. of Tucker died Monday, February 5, 2007. He was born in St. Louis, MO and moved with his parents to Miami, FL at 15. He graduated from the University of Miami; served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army; then returned to St. Louis where he owned his own business. Mr. Muckler later embarked on his corporate career and transferred to Florida working in a sales position, then as Manager of Distribution Sales for the Southeast. He later assumed the positions of Regional Manager of Utility Supply Company in Orlando, FL and as President of a utility supply company in Atlanta, GA with multiple branches throughout the southeast. He left the corporate world and established his own corporation and served as president for some 17 years before retiring to homes in Tucker and Clearwater, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Lynne Owens; son, Thomas O. Muckler, Jr., and sister, Virginia Muckler. He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Muckler of Alexandria, VA, Marianne Muckler Jones and husband Walter of Loxley, AL; son, Christopher Muckler of St Petersburg, FL; daughter-in-law, Lori Muckler; sisters, Mary Louise Maier of San Francisco, CA, Barbara Ann Frazier of Boca Raton, FL; three grandchildren, Donna Lynn, Danielle B., and Thomas O. III; and great granddaughter, Charlotte Olivia Mackey. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 10th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home prior to the Mass. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 Noon at St. Katherine's Catholic Church in Clearwater, FL. Entombment with military honors will be held in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A. S. Turner & Sons
