Tony Ortega Trujillo

July 22, 1918 — August 27, 2007

Mr. Tony Trujillo, 89, of Decatur died Monday, August 27, 2007. He served in the U. S. Airborne during World War II parachuting behind enemy lines on D Day. He was awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, a Purple Heart and many other campaign medals. Mr. Trujillo was preceded in death by his wife, Teenie; and son Harold. He is survived by his daughter, Robin Icenhour; son, Mike Trujillo; grandson, Shane Icenhour; and great grandson, Evan Icenhour. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Midway Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Deacon Howard Wallace officiating. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to a favorite charity. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
