Velma Louise Mckinney

Velma Louise McKinney, 90, of Decatur died on Friday January 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. McKinney. She was a life long member of First Christian Church of Decatur, a homemaker, housewife and a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sister, Gwendola F. Wills of Kansas City, MO; Sons and their wives, Don and Donna McKinney, Dave and Sandy McKinney all of Alpharetta, Gary and Cathy McKinney of Kingston Springs, TN. Grandsons and their wives, Rob and Megan McKinney of Atlanta, Carlos McKinney of Kingston Springs, TN and her granddaughter, Rosa McKinney of Kingston Springs, TN. Also surviving are her nephews and their wives, Doug and Julie Wills and their family of Overland Park, KS, Ed and Christine Wills and their family of Olathe, KS and Ken and Nina Wills and their family of Broken Arrow, OK. Funeral services will be held on Monday January 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm at First Christian Church of Decatur with The Rev. Dr. James L. Brewer-Calvert officiating with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
