Virginia Anne McDonald, 80, formerly of Decatur, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. Virginia worked as a PBX operator for Southern Bell in Atlanta and a receptionist for Aero Commander in Albany, Ga. Originally from Colquitt, GA, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. McDonald. She is survived by her daughters, Debra Turner of Stockbridge, GA and Dawn McDonald of Gainesville, GA; a sister, Doris Moody of Colquitt, GA and a brother, Ronald Moody of Athens, Ga. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons in Decatur, GA on Saturday, February 14th at 4:00 with visitation from 1:00 – 4:00 prior to the service. A. S. Turner & Sons
