Virginia Crowe Bugg

Virginia C. Bugg passed away Thursday June 3, 2022 at the age of 95.  She was born on August 29, 1926 in Gloster, Georgia. Virginia was the first born daughter of Belvie and Sadie Crowe.  She grew up in Tucker Georgia with her sisters, Betty (Carman) and twins Mary (Burns) and Martha (Bennett). She married J.C. Bugg in September 1944. They soon began their gang of Bugg boys, Johnnie, Kenneth, Randy and Keith.

Virginia lived her adult life in the Rehoboth community. She came to her faith in Jesus through the radio ministry of Jess Henley. Virginia was baptized into the Rehoboth Baptist Church in September 1948. She did not sit on the side lines of Rehoboth. Her love for the Lord set the table of the many meals she would prepare for her family and others in the community. Virginia always gave thanks for everything and everyone around her. She was a prayer warrior. She will be deeply missed.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Bugg: her mother, Sadie Lee Crowe: her father, Belvie L. Crowe: her brother, Gene Crowe: her sister, Betty Carman: her son, Keith Bugg: her grandson, Brandon Bugg and her great-grandson, Aaron Miller.

She is survived by her sons Johnnie (Diane) Bugg, Kenneth (Jane) Bugg and Randy (Brenda) Bugg. Her grandchildren Joey (Ginny) Bugg, Jamie (Brooke) Bugg, Shannon (Mike) Miller, Anna (Jared) Swafford and Katie (Kyle Smith) Bugg. Her great-grandchildren Cody Bugg, Amelia King, Hannah Miller, Evan Miller and Nathan Miller, Madison Bugg, Abby Bugg, Lucy Bugg and her great-great-grandaughter Cora Hopkins.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 8th at 1:30 pm at Rehoboth Baptist Church.  Interment to follow at Floral Hills Memory Garden. The family will receive friends Tuesday June 7th from 5:00-8:00 pm at  A.S.Turner and Sons Funeral Home.
