W. R. Lively, Jr., age 88, of Atlanta died Wednesday, September 3, 2008. He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Marjorie Major Lively. Mr. Lively was a member and Deacon at PeachtreeBaptistChurch. He retired from Southern Bell in 1982 after 40 plus years of service. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He is survived by his daughters, Deborah Williams and her husband, Ken of Atlanta, Kathleen Stokes and her husband Pat of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Mallory Williams, Zack Williams, Will Stokes, Nick Stokes; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.m.Saturday, September 6, 2008 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Robert H. Walker, Jr. officiating, with internment at FloralHillsMemoryGardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PeachtreeBaptistChurch, 2108 Briarcliff Rd., N.E.Atlanta, GA30329. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Friday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons.
