Dr. Walter Dan Stinson died of heart failure Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Dan was a loyal family man committed to the end. He was a renowned dentist involved in community service and his church. He is survived by his wife Barbara Stinson; daughters: Cherie Schroth, Susan Stinson, Martha McGinnis and Catherine Stinson; grandchildren: Ansley, Will, Kelsey, Lydia, Patrick and Marisol. Funeral services will be held at Briarlake Baptist Church (3715 Lavista Road) from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday, February 9, with visitation from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at the church. Following the service there will be a reception from 2:00 to 3:30 PM in the fellowship hall of the church. Interment will be in Arlington Memorial Park at 4:00 PM. A. S.
