William F. C. Skinner

William F. C. (Bill) Skinner, Jr. age 65, of Doraville, GA died November 25, 2008 of complications following a stroke. Originally from Richmond, VA and a veteran of the Vietnam War, Bill worked as an Attorney in Decatur, GA for 38 years and was an active member of the DeKalb Bar Association. He was a graduate of Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA and Emory Law School. A lover of sports, he was an avid fan of the Braves and Falcons, but his favorite teams were those he coached for his children. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Bryant Skinner; son, William F.C. Skinner, III ("Chip"), daughter, Carey Skinner Phelps and son-in-law, Rob Phelps. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 515 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, GA.
