Xarilaos "Harry" Angelo Katsoudas

February 14, 1961 — August 1, 2021

Harry Katsoudas, owner of ASPIS Parking Solutions, fell asleep in the lord unexpectedly, on August 1, 2021.

Harry is survived by his mother, Evangelia, his wife Helen, sons Constantine, Evangelos, and Alexandros, his sister Krisoula, his brother George(Eleny) nephew Vangeli, nieces Kysia and Paulina, and his mother-in-law Anna, his sister-in-law Katerina(George), nephews Pantelis, Constantine, and Ioakim.

Harry was a first generation American born in Thomasville, Georgia, from Greek-born parents. Harry was very proud of the Greek traditions and of his heritage. He loved Greek music and traditional Greek dance, the bouzouki, Evrytania, and the Greek Island of Aegina.

After graduating from Thomasville High School, Harry moved to Atlanta, Georgia. There he attended Georgia Tech and eventually graduated from Southern Polytechnic in Marietta, Georgia, as a Mechanical Engineer. These skills proved invaluable to him as he was a hands-on type of person, as evident by his career working with parking systems. In 2008 he created his own company, ASPIS (Access Security Parking Integrated Systems) Parking Solutions. Harry loved every aspect of parking systems, especially his colleagues and his customers. It was his passion. He was truly a servant

leader who always put his colleagues and customers first (24/7). This was Harry - he was always helping others.

But Harry was also a private person who was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. He always made sure his family and loved ones were taken care of. He had a big heart. He loved his Greek heritage and culture, and very faithful to his Greek Orthodox religion. Some additional passions were pheasant hunting, traveling, collector of sorts, and tinkering (there wasn’t anything he could not fix), and spending quality time with his family.
He was a super man and he was loved across the globe. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Harry, may your memory be eternal. You worked hard all your life - now you may rest in peace.
For those who want to say good-bye to Harry, please visit him on Friday, August 6, 2021, between 5 pm and 7 pm at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home at 2773 N. Decatur Rd. in Decatur. A trisagion or prayer service will be conducted at 6 pm.
On Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 2 pm, there will be a Church service for Harry at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation at 2500 Clairmont Rd. Atlanta, GA. Harry will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery, 1173 Cascade Rd. Atlanta, GA. Afterwards, there will be a light reception at the Cathedral for those who would like to share stories about Harry.
