Zarakkhan Kiren Adams

Zarakkhan Kiren “Unique” Adams, 56, of Queens, New York, passed away on June 16, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.

He was born to parents Mozella and Edward Adams, on December 27, 1965, in Jamacia, New York. Unique graduated from Automotive High School and retired from The New York City Transit Authority in 2016.

Unique was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his best friend Diann De Jesus, the love of his life, and soulmate in 1987, who survives him. Unique is also survived by his sons Kireem and Unique Adams and his daughter Jasmin Adams, as well as a host of grandchildren and his mother Mozella, brother Omar Adams and sister Mettalayus Hart. Many Aunt's ,Uncle's and cousins.

Unique helped raised three children with patience, discipline, and humility but was a father to so many more.  Unique was known for his love of the Music, AFX cars and the Pittsburgh, Steelers. Unique was such a good friend to many. His friends knew that the party was about to get good when he arrived, and it wouldn’t be over until he left. He could entertain people for hours and wouldn’t hesitate to help a friend or stranger.

Even though Unique’s entire family mourns him in death, the list of surviving friends who mourn his death are too many to count.

Those who wish to pay their respects may do so at the memorial service which will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 5 p.m. at the A.S. Turner Funeral Home & Crematory | Decatur, Georgia, Cremation to follow. The family asks that people make donations to his gofundme, in lieu of sending flower
