Zora May Eidson

Mrs. Zora May Eidson, 93, a longtime resident of Stone Mountain and most recently of Wesley Woods Towers, died Sunday, March 14, 2010.  Mrs. Eidson was a 73 year active member of Mountain View Baptist Church. She was an avid quilter and will forever be remembered for her precise, all handmade works of art.  Preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Ann Eidson Bradshaw, Mrs. Eidson is survived by her husband of 76 years, Dan T. Eidson; son and daughter-in-law, David A. and Annette Eidson of Dacula; sister, Margie Nicholson; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 17th. Interment Melwood Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted but for those who prefer, donations may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church, 4618 Redan Rd., Stone Mountain, GA 30083. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 16th at A. S. Turner & Sons
