Adalie Waters Gheesling

Mrs. Adalie Waters Gheesling of Decatur died Monday, May 9, 2005. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Gheesling; sons E. Lance Gheesling, II of Dallas, TX;  Kerry D. Gheesling and his wife Victoria of Stone Mountain; daughter, Laurelie Gheesling of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Tiffany Reimer, Kerry Allen Gheesling, Lindsay Gheesling, Scott Gheesling; and four great grandchildren. In addition to being a homemaker, Adalie was retired from C. & S bank. A lifelong resident of Atlanta, she attended Girls High and was a longtime member of Grant Park Baptist Church. She was also a member of Pine Lake Baptist Church where with her family, she was active in the music program and WMU. She most recently was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 12, Rev. Warren Redding and Dr. Albert Eads officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
