Mrs. Agnes D. Vaughan, 99, of Atlanta, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012. She worked in the Legal Department at the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Edwin Thomas Vaughan. Mrs. Vaughan was a devoted member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, where she and her husband where married by Peter Marshall on August 13, 1936. She is survived by her step-sister, Marie Bass of Guntersville, AL; nieces, Beatrice J. Sloop of Cheraw, SC, and Joan Strickland of Jacksonville, FL; and nephews, George M. Johnson, Jr. of Valdosta, GA, and Dr. Joe Pattison of Jacksonville, Fl; and numerous other family and friends. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, April 18th at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with visitation at A.S. Turner & Sons from 6 to 8pm Tuesday.
