Alice Turner Hester

Mrs. Alice Turner Hester, formerly of Decatur, and most recently of Resaca, GA died Wednesday, September 5, 2007. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Hester is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Jeff Vires of Resaca; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Susanne Hester of Gwinnett; five grandchildren, Ashley Woodall of Chatsworth, Courtney Vires, and Brittany Palmer, both of Resaca, Jordan Hester and Sunny Hester, both of Gwinnett; one great grandson, Michael Woodall of Chatsworth; two sisters, Lois Jenkins of Jonesboro, Mildred Beck of Decatur; five brothers, James Turner of Austell, Odis Turner of Stockbridge, Ralph Turner of Decatur; Ray Turner of Conyers, and John Turner of Lithia Springs; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 8th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Rev. Brandon Herndon will officiate. Interment will follow at Masters Cemetery in Ellenwood. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
