Alma Lyons

March 12, 1930 — July 31, 2012

Mrs. Alma Lyons, 82, passed away July 31, 2012. Mrs. Lyons was born in Debstadt, Germany, a former resident of Long Island, New York, and most recently, Atlanta. She is predeceased in death by her husband, John Lyons, and her brother, John vonGlahn. Survivors are her son, John Lyons, and wife Kelly; granddaughters, Aimee, Katie and Sarah; sister, Henny Bispo; niece, Joanne Starke; nephews, Michael Bispo and Richard Bispo. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 4, 2012, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, and a memorial service following in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Patti Axel officiating. Interment will be in The Evergreens Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York.
