Alverta Sedgwick Wright, 100, of Atlanta, passed away on Thursday August 27, 2015. Alverta was widowed from James Martin Wright. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Kulb; two sons, James K. Wright, Robert "Buck" Wright; sister, Betty Glenn; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held Sunday August 30, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons with Rev. Lanny Peters and Rev. Melanie Vaughn Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday August 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
