Annie Claud Marbury

Anne Marbury, wife of the late Junious Lake Marbury passed away January 28, 2015 after a brief illness. Anne was born June 22, 1915, and lived more than half of her 99 years on Drewry St. in the Virginia Highlands area of Atlanta, Ga. She was a true Southern Lady, a historian of all things Atlanta. She was active through the years with her Church, Druid Hills Presbyterian and the Lions Club with whom her late husband had been a President during his years of Service. Anne is survived by Daughter Claudette Howard; Grandchildren - Kirk Howard, Lance Howard, Ed and Leslee Howard Traurig, Vince and Robyn Hughes, Craig Hughes, Tim and Angela Hughes Cantrell, 11 great- grandchildren, 5 great- great- grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Druid Hills Presbyterian Church. The family prefers an informal service so casual dress is appropriate.
