Annie Tibbs, 91, of Atlanta, died March 10, 2016. Born in London, England, she served in the United Kingdom Women's Land Army in WWII from 1940 to 1945. She retired from Atlanta Gas Light in 1990.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Tibbs Burt and husband, Dalton Burt; sister-in-law, Frances Tibbs Fordham and husband, Leonard Fordham; niece, Cecily Hilton and daughter, Kelly Temple; grandson, James Burt and wife, Deanna; granddaughter, Tracy Owen; five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 12th from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2 PM at Resthaven Garden of Memories with Rev. Jerry Reeves officiating.
