Arthur Kugel

Mr. Arthur Kugel, age 95, of Decatur died Sunday, December 5, 2004. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Decatur. He graduated from Northwestern University and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a CPA and retired from the IRS. He was a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who found his true avocation in his family. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth P. Kugel; sons, Bill and Pam Kugel of Decatur, GA, Jim and Becky Blalock of Marietta, GA, Ernie Blalock of Decatur, GA; daughters, Nancy and Bob Martin of Holly Springs, GA, Linda Hutto of Macon, GA, Lynn and Gary Singleton of Lilburn, GA, Janet and Jeffrey Hobbins of Conyers, GA;12 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the First Baptist Church of Decatur, Dr. Harold D. Zwald and Rev. Joe Mason officiating. Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
