A.V. (Pappy) Thompson, age 92, of Decatur, GA passed away March 17, 2015. Pappy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and was a very successful entrepreneur and businessman. He is survived by his wife; Ruth Chewning Thompson, daughters; Shirley Wilson and Dianne Lucas, grandsons; Ted Wilson and Mark Swords and great grandchildren; Taylor Swords, Hunter Swords, Justin Wilson and Amber Wilson and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Friday March 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm at A.S. Turner and Sons, interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday March 19, 2015 from 5:00 until 9:00 pm at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory
