B. Edward Bryant Jr. beloved husband, father, brother, son, uncle, friend, and Ranger was born on November 29, 1967 in Jacksonville, Florida. He passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 16, 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ben Bryant grew up in Valley, Alabama. After high school, he enlisted into the Army where he served honorably as an infantryman with the 1st Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Hunter Army Airfield, GA. He went straight through all four phases of Ranger school without recycling and graduated with Ranger class 10-88. Valuing his service highly, he embodied being a Ranger for the remainder of his life and guided his daughters and loved ones as they embarked on their service to the United States Military. He served in A Co, 1st Ranger BN during Operation Just Cause before separating from active duty.

After separating from the Army, he married his wife Ruth Lynette Bryant and had three beautiful daughters. He carried his leadership skills into the business world running the Imperial Gaming Company, holding numerous leadership roles in the community, and always lending a helping hand where needed. Known by his family and friends for his sense of humor, vivacious spirit, articulate language, and living the Ranger way of life, Ben Bryant was someone whose words and actions greatly influenced everyone around him. His attitude towards life has inspired many to face challenges head on, continually educate themselves, hold steadfast to their beliefs, and never be satisfied with doing the bare minimum. He believed in everyone's ability to improve themselves through education, hard work, and treating others with respect regardless of their identity.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Edward Bryant Sr.

Survived by his wife Ruth Bryant; mother Marian Bryant; Daughters Anna Marie Bryant, Rebecca Bryant, Jessica Bryant; sister Valarie Smith; nieces Aisha Lockett (Broderick) and Lanesha Levert (Marcus); Aunt, Bobbie M. Reid, Uncles Oscar Monagan and Johnny Monagan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 2025, 10:30 am at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church in Decatur, GA. A committal service with military honors will be conducted honoring Ranger Bryant on Monday, June 9th, 2025 at the Georgia National Cemetery.
