Betty Bockmier

Mrs. Betty Bockmier died Sunday, August 12, 2012. She was a longtime member of the Altar Guild and Daughters of the King at St. Bede's Episcopal Church. Betty was a member of the Wellsville, NY Girl Scout troop that was one of the first to sell Girl Scout cookies and later became the leader of a troop in Georgia. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Foster, Carol Guthrie and Ann Foote; grandchildren, Joey Still, Jimmy Whiteley, Marshall Still and Jennifer Smith; and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, August 17, 2012, with Rev. Laura Bryant officiating. In lieu of flowers those desiring may send contributions to a favorite charity or St. Bede's Episcopal Church, 2601 Henderson Mill Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30345. A. S.
