Beverly Ann (Warfield) Morton affectionately known as Becky passed away Monday July 13, 2026, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Beverly was a native of Middletown/Dayton, Ohio, born May 31, 1938, the daughter of William (Jr.) and Lavina Warfield. She attended Middletown High School. She has been a resident of Atlanta, Georgia since 1996. She served as secretary for Jefferson Township Middle School from the 1970's through the late 1980's.

She was married to George A. Morton on December 3, 1960, in Middletown, Ohio. To this union a son, Damon A. Morton, was born. A loving wife and mother with her top priority being her family.

She was a member of Maranatha Seven-Day Adventist Church where she acted as Assistant Secretary.

She is preceded in death by her husband, father and mother.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Damon A. Morton, her six grandchildren; Paige Morton, Alex Morton Caleb Miller, Devin Morton, Ashanti Morton, Cadence Morton and great grandson, Satori McMichael along with her brother, William Warfield III of Dayton, Ohio; Sister Barbara Patterson of Lithonia, Ga and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will gather at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory, 2773 N. Decatur Rd. Decatur, GA 30033, Wednesday July 22, 2026 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory at 11:00 am.
