Bill Cardwell
July 13, 1954 — July 4, 2016
William (Bill) Steve Cardwell of Atlanta, Georgia died surrounded by his family on Monday, July 4, 2016. Bill was a voracious reader, a lover of all things southern and most things old, and the fiercest adversary the neighborhood squirrels could have imagined. As a father, he was inspired and infinite in his patience, wisdom, and love.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Cardwell, his three sons; Stuart, Taylor, and Wesley, his brother Lee Cardwell, his father Gordon Cardwell, and a myriad of other loving family and friends.
The family will hold a vigil at A.S. Turner and Sons from 6pm to 8pm, Thursday, July 7th. The funeral will be held at noon on Friday, July 8th at Holy Trinity Parish.
