Catherine C. Harris

Mrs. Catherine C. Harris, 84, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on April 2, 2008 after a long illness.  She was born on April 4, 1923 in Cartersville, Georgia and was the youngest daughter of Gregory and Jospehine Carratt.  She was a long time resident of Avondale Estates, Georgia prior to moving to Lawrenceville.  She is survived by her beloved husband of sixty years, Constantine Harris; a daughter, Joanna Hall; a son and daughter-in-law, Angelo and Debbie Harris; granddaughters, Raven Hall and Stephanie Alexander; grandsons, Michael, Graham, and Evan Harris; three great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.  Catherine was a homemaker who always welcomed family and friends.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.  Visitation will be Thursday from  6:30 to 8:30 P.M. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 P.M. at  A. S. Turner & Son's Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Road, Decatur, Georgia 404-292-1551.  The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 4th at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation located at 2500 Clairmont road, NE, Atlanta.  Burial will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens on Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker.  A.
