Charles Brogden Sr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and man of unwavering faith, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of strength, wisdom, and love that will endure for generations.
Charles proudly served in the United States Army for 22 years, dedicating his life to honor, discipline, and service. His commitment to duty was matched only by his devotion to his beloved wife, Roxanne Brogden. Together, they shared 46 beautiful years of marriage and a remarkable 50-year journey of love, partnership, and faith.
He was a proud father to Damian, Charles Jr. "Chaz" with wife Gerica, and Lauren "Nikki," and a cherished grandfather to Kemeka, Raashid, Damonte, AJ, Charlie, Andre, and Harper. Charles poured his heart into his family, guiding them with quiet strength, deep wisdom, and unconditional love. His presence was a steady anchor, and his words-always thoughtful-carried the weight of experience and care.
A man of profound faith, Charles inspired many, especially the young men who looked up to him. He lived with purpose, integrity, and a passion for both his work and his loved ones. Friends and family alike respected him deeply-not just for what he did, but for who he was.
Though his absence is felt deeply, we take comfort in knowing that Charles is now whole and joyful in the arms of Jesus, reunited with his beloved father and mother, Liburne and Mary Brogden and grandson Raashid". His spirit lives on in the stories we share, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely.
Charles Brogden Sr. will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the lives he touched. His legacy is etched in the hearts of all who knew him.
