Charles Homer Odell

Charlie Odell was born on January 9, 1936 and passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015. Charlie was a resident of Tucker, Georgia at the time of his passing. He is survived by his beloved wife Amelia Dolly Odell, his children Kevin and Dianna Odell (and their children, Kaitlyn, Courtney and Scott), Buddy and Sharon Odell, his brother, Don Digger Odell; his stepchildren, Penny and Eddie Gorecki (and their children, Alex and Christina), Kenny and Amy Mattus (and their children, Angelina, Maria and Aaron), Melody and Eddie Pool (and their son, Brandon), Sandy and Jeff Kidd (and their children Bradley and Jeffrey), and the late Brien Buccilla (and his daughter, Briana). Charlie and Dolly were lovingly known as the Dynamic Dur entertaining many senior citizens and private parties around town. Charlie was the sound engineer and the funny guy behind Dolly's singing and clowning around - they brought laughter and hope to so many people. Charlie's other passions were golfing and fishing. He had countless fishing trips with his brother, Digger (and whoever was brave enough to go on fishing trips with them). He loved a good golf game with his loyal friend, Bob Dillon and with his sons, Kevin and Buddy. Charlie particularly loved golfing with his Grandson, Scott, and cherished spending time with his 2 wonderful Granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Courtney. Charlie also had endless love and patience for all of Dolly's children and grandchildren. His family will receive friends on Tuesday, 1/20/15 at 10 a.m. with a Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at A.
