Charles Leaston Bell

Charles Leaston Bell, age 84, of Atlanta died Sunday December 6, 2020. Born in Augusta, he was the son of Earl Leaston and Eleanor Brown Bell. He was a member of Latham United Methodist in Huntsville, Alabama. He was a graduate of the Richmond Academy in Augusta, Southern Tech, Georgia Tech, and Alabama A&M University. An electrical engineer and restorer of antique radios, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Burt Bell. He is survived by son Franklin Leaston Bell and daughter-in-law Deanna Bell of Birmingham. Interment will be at Decatur Cemetery following a private service. The family will arrange a celebration of his life to take place when the current health crisis is resolved.
