Charles Winton Cooper, Sr.
May 17, 1945 — April 30, 2021
Charles Cooper, 75, of Monroe, passed away on Friday April 30th, 2021.
Charles was born in Atlanta and was employed in construction most of his working life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ossie and Virginia Magness Cooper and his daughter Donna Gail Cooper.
Charles is survived by daughters, Jean Tengram and her husband, Steven and Lynn Tischhauser and her husband, Brian; sons, Charles W. Cooper, Jr. and his wife, Paula, Chris Cooper and his wife, Michelle, Phillip Cooper and his wife, Kelli; sister. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain at 1:00 pm Saturday May 8th with Rev. Ralph Baker officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at A. S. Turner & Sons.
