It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Partido, age 51, of Decatur, Georgia. Chris was born on June 24, 1974 in Greensboro, NC and passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty and an unforgettable smile.
Chris built a respected career in Finance with Berkshire Settlements, where he was admired for his professionalism, work ethic and can-do spirit. Beyond his work, Chris most enjoyed being with his friends and family, playing sports, watching superhero movies, and just hanging out. He was a gifted athlete, winning the ATLA City Championship 3 times as a member of the legendary "Spacepants" crew. He was known for his passionate rally cries, self improvement techniques, and a never ending desire to get better.
Chris had a distinctive personal style and set of passions that made him unforgettable. His love of Air Jordans, a continuous stream of new outfits, hats that only he could pull off, and a eclectic collection of tattoos that told stories of his latino heritage and wisdom beyond his years. He was a devoted fan of Bob Dylan and his beloved Carolina Tarheels and Hurricanes living and dying with every point made or missed.
Chris is survived by his daughter, Dylan, whom he loved deeply. His devoted mother, Penny and his proud father Keith.
To his family, friends and all who knew him, Chris was someone who made the world brighter - whether through a heartfelt conversation, a shared laugh (and there were many) or lending a hand to someone in need, his presence was always a gift. We will miss him for the rest of our days. May he rest in peace and the memories be a blessing to all who were lucky enough to know him.
There will be a celebration of Chris's life held on Monday, February 9 from 6-8 pm at Wahoo Grill Restaurant.
