Claire Barksdale Gross
May 27, 1960 — August 22, 2012
Claire Barksdale Gross, a lifelong resident of Brookhaven and regional safety & claims specialist with Whole Foods for 14 years, passed away August 22, 2012. A loving sister, aunt, great-aunt and friend, she was the daughter of the late Mary M. and Lester E. Barksdale. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Lois & Thomas Cowan; nephew, Paul Cowan; niece Leslie Bensinger; twin great-nephews, Will and Drew Bensinger; great-niece, Emily Cowan and many special and caring friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Those desiring may make contributions to the Atlanta Humane Society. A. S. Turner Funeral Home and Crematory.
