Daniel Allen Newman, Sr. of East Point died Wednesday, October 12, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Rosalind Newman; daughter, Debbie Newman; son, Daniel A. Newman, Jr.; and brother, Robert H. Newman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Fred Whitehurst officiating. Interment will be in College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
