Daniel "Dan" Fuller
Daniel "Dan" Fuller, aged 81, passed away peacefully in his home state of Georgia on October 12, 2026. A longtime resident of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Dan built a life centered on service, faith, and family.
Dan graduated from Clarkston High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force. Afterwards, he earned his degree in Business from Berry College. He dedicated his career to the United States Postal Service, serving his community faithfully until his retirement. He often referred to himself as "Dan the Mailman."
A devoted member of Lilburn First Baptist Church, Dan found purpose and fellowship in his faith. He shared God's love by volunteering with the local prison ministry, offering compassion and encouragement to others. In his quiet time, Dan enjoyed spending time on his back porch, finding joy in the beauty of God's creations, especially the birds.
Above all, Dan treasured his family. He is survived by his loving children, Michael and Erica (Jason); his cherished grandson, Aidan; his sister, Charlotte; his brothers, Johnny and Herbert (Judy), and several extended family members.
Dan is now reunited in Heaven with his precious wife, Louise Fuller. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Leon Fuller Sr. and Bertie Mae Fuller, and his two brothers, Jesse Fuller Jr. and Von Fuller.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM, followed by a service celebrating Dan's life at 1:00 PM. Both will be held at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home (2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, GA 30033).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made toward a memorial bench at Berry College via https://everloved.com/life-of/dan-fuller/
Dan's life was a reflection of his faith, his devotion to family, and his heart for service. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
