Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith entered into rest January, 2005 at his residence in Druid Hills.  He was 47 years old.  Mr. Smith attended Rabun Gap Nacoochee School in North GA before attending college at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, GA.  He was involved in real estate, working as property manager of personal investment properties.  He is survived by his mother, Sarah Agnes Smith of Atlanta; one sister, Mary Elizabeth Smith of New Market, MD; one brother, Robert Eugene Smith, Jr. of St. Simons Island, GA; aunt, Eugenia S. Sikes of Milledgeville, GA; uncle, Henry Howard Smith of Atlanta; and several cousins.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 4th at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home followed by a service in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2:00 p.m.  The family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made in his name to the DeKalb County Humane Society.
