David Lamar Shaw
June 19, 1956 — September 22, 2014
David L. Shaw, 58, of Avondale Estates, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014. He was employed with Lincoln Properties where he was a Maintenance Engineer. He was a fun loving spirit with a gift of storytelling and making people laugh. David attended Avondale High School and served in the U.S. Navy as a Boatswain's Mate. David's joy in life was his kids and grandkids. His best friend was Kenneth. He is survived by brothers, Ed Shaw, Ray Shaw, Terry Shaw; sister, Dianne Wallace; children, James Shaw, Dianne Shaw and Melannie White; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive family and friends at 11am followed by a celebration of life at 1pm Saturday September 27, at A.S. Turner & Sons.
