Mr. David Walter Vaughan, 35, of Decatur and Statesboro, GA died on Monday, May 1, 2012 in Statesboro surrounded by family and friends. David graduated from Decatur High School and Georgia Southern University. He loved Bluegrass and Gospel music and the Georgia Bulldogs. He is survived by his parents, Walter Vaughan and Virginia Newsome Vaughan; and sister, Becky Vaughan, all of Decatur. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5th at Decatur First United Methodist Church with Dr. David Naglee officiating. Interment will follow at Decatur Cemetery. Those desiring may send contributions to Decatur First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory.
