Delois Grant, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cherished friend, peacefully departed this life on August 5, 2026, in Conyers, Georgia. She was born on May 7, 1952, in Whigham, Georgia, to the late Renita Betner Grant and L. C. Grant.

Delois was a woman of faith who loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and she carried her love for God and others throughout her life.

Professionally, Delois dedicated many years of her life to serving others through her work as an Accountant at Citizens Trust Bank, where she eventually retired. She was known for her dedication, intelligence, and commitment to doing her work with excellence.

Delois was also a gifted and creative soul. She had a deep love for drawing, painting, photography, playing musical instruments, and writing songs. She found joy in capturing beautiful moments through her camera and expressing her heart through music and art. Her creativity was a special gift that reflected the beauty within her.

Above all, Delois treasured her family. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her children, Tara Grant and Quentin Daniels; her grandchildren, Quashandra Daniels, Courtney Grant, and Corey Grant; her sister, Tammy Baker; her niece and nephews, Talesha Crawford, Derrick Crawford, and Spencer Baker Jr.; and her great-nieces and great-nephew, Tatiyona Hodges, Jordyn Baker, and Kayden Green. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Veronis Few.

Delois will be remembered for her loving spirit, creativity, strength, faith, and the special way she touched the lives of those around her. Her smile, her laughter, her artistic gifts, and the memories she created with her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her love and legacy will continue to live through her children, grandchildren, sister, family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

Rest peacefully, Delois. Your work here is done, but your love, your light, and your beautiful memory will live on forever.
