It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis G. Hebert, age 74, on May 14, 2026. Born February 28 1952, in Anaheim, CA, to his late parents, Willis and Ida (Simon) Hebert, he was the third of eight children.
Dennis proudly served in both the United States Marine Corps and the United Sates Army, and spent many years driving trucks. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (McDaniel) Hebert and is survived by son, James Hebert; daughters, Gloria Bannister and Natalie Scites; step-daughter, Naomi Dunn; brothers, Preston Hebert, E. J. Hebert and Lynn Hebert; sisters, Alice Hebert, Judy Cook, Doris Westbrook and Joyce Berryman; nephew, Lee Russell; and 11 grandchildren.
The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Dennis' life during the visitation on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 beginning at 12:00 PM, and the funeral service at 2:00 PM, both to be held at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory. Military honors will be provided by the United States Marine Corps. Dennis will be laid to rest at Georgia National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 1:30PM.
