Dennis R. Oxford

Mr. Dennis R. Oxford, 66, of Lilburn died Saturday, February 5, 2011. Mr. Oxford graduated from Jones Business College in Jacksonville, FL. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam War veteran. He was retired from the State of Georgia where he worked in the Revenue Department. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Oxford of Tucker; sister, Gail Dean of Decatur; nieces and nephews, David and Holly Lord of Commerce, Chad and Jennifer Dean of Piedmont, SC, Ryan and Leslie Dean of Jackson, MS; two great nephews, Kyle and Evan; and one great niece, Lydia. A memorial service celebrating his life and the Gospel will be held Friday, February 11, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Friday at A. S. Turner and Sons.
