Devin Jeter

Devin Jeter, born on August 31, 1999, in Atlanta, GA, passed away at the age of 25 on Nov 8, 2024, in Lumber City, GA. Devin was known for his generosity and adventurous spirit, and he was a spirited and courageous individual. He was always impeccably dressed, bringing a sense of style and enthusiasm to every gathering.

Devin graduated from Druid Hills High School in 2020 in Atlanta before joining the United States Navy in 2021. After completing his basic and military occupational training, he was stationed in Japan. He had rotated back to the U.S. He was stationed at NAS Jacksonville for three months before his passing.

Devin received several commendations for his service in the military. He had a passion for gaming and anime, hobbies that brought him joy and allowed him to connect with friends and fellow enthusiasts.

Devin is survived by his loving parents, Almond and Michael; three sisters, Tia Jeter, Almond Michelle Jeter, and Melanie Denise Jeter; two brothers, Michael Shaquille Slaughter and Tomal Jeter; and his grandmother, Perry Delaney Jeter; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Willie Jeter.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 11th, 2004, at 11:00 am at A.S. Turner and Sons in Decatur, GA, where the family has entrusted his final arrangements. Devin's life and service will be commemorated in a ceremony with full military honors, befitting his vibrant spirit and dedicated service.
