Donald Homer Thompson

Donald Homer Thompson (Tommy), Capt. USNR died Tuesday, January 25, 2005. He was born March 15, 1934 in Louisville, KY. A former Naval aviator and retired mechanical engineer, Tommy was an active member of Holy Trinity Parish (Episcopal) and a life member of The Garden Club of Georgia. He was active for many years in ISA. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth Wicker (Betty); son, Donald Bruce of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Elizabeth Twyman of Atlanta, IL; three grandchildren, Jason Allen, Peyton Lonsdale, Stephanie Lonsdale; a sister, Lois Troyer McGrath of Louisville, KY; and two sisters-in-law, Peggy Thompson of Louisville, KY and Marilyn Wicker of Greenwood, IN. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 30th, at  2:00 p.m.  at Holy Trinity Parish, The Rev. William Deneke officiating. A committal service will be held in the Holy Trinity Chapel Garden.
